Playing with Color This Week 🌸

Hi!

I was in a store the other day and saw a display of seed packets. I don't have much time to garden, but I do want to plant an herb garden near the kitchen this year. Amongst the seed packets I found several salad offerings and the next thing I knew, they were in my cart. I've grown lettuces in the spring before but it's been decades. For some reason, I wanted to do it again. So I'm planting mesclun, arugula, and a lettuce mix. I'll let you know if anything grows, and if I can beat the bunnies to it. 🤣

I must really want spring, because the other day I found myself recoloring some of my quilt patterns in spring colors. Here's my Fall Flight tablerunner in spring greens. Whatcha think?

I went on to reimagine Charlotte in soft pinks, corals, and greens in Kindness by Deb Strain for Moda. This is such a pretty collection, and Charlotte really shows it off.

It seems I just couldn't stop! Here's Broken Road Mini in Lydia Rose by Bunny Hill Designs for Moda. What a sweet baby quilt this would make!

I had to make myself stop. I think I have a few new spring quilts in my future. 🩷 How about you?

Hi! Yesterday I attended my nephew's First Communion. It was lovely to see my family as we don't often get together much.
