What’s Your Favorite School-Day Memory? ✏️

Hi!

It's that time of year when kids return to school. My favorite school memory was going to the mall with my mom to buy new shoes. I loved my penny loafers the best. I also loved getting a fresh box of crayons, pencils, pens, notebooks, and a binder to keep everything in. What's your favorite school-time memory?

This is also the time when makers like you and me look for school-themed sewing projects. Here are a collection of school-themed blocks you might make into a mini-quilt, table runner, or pillow.

Hi! I was in a store the other day and saw a display of seed packets. I don't have much time to garden, but I do want to plant an herb garden near the kitchen this year. Amongst the seed packets I found several salad offerings and the next thing I knew, they were in my cart. I've grown lettuces in the spring before but it's been decades.
